The Techno Bra is an intimate wearable device that is outfitted with a heart-rate monitor woven into the fabric, and global positioning system and wireless phone embedded into contoured gel pads. If the monitor detects a sudden leap in the wearer's heart rate, indicating severe panic or heart distress, it will send a signal that alerts emergency services or a loved one and relays the victim's location via GPS. False alarms can be averted if the wearer switches off the alarm, which vibrates silently.
